Northern Wolves Air Conditioning is seeking an elite Senior Lead HVAC Technician to anchor our field operations across New York City. This role isn’t just about tools and troubleshooting; it’s about leading by example. You’ll be the go-to expert on complex commercial HVAC systems, from startup to emergency response. Lead and execute complex commercial HVAC installations, repairs, and commissioning tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced system issues across VRF/VRV, chilled water, boilers, WSHPs, RTUs, controls, and hydronic systems.
Supervise field crews, ensuring quality work, safety standards, and code compliance.
Serve as the senior technical resource for both field and office teams.
Read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and mechanical specifications.
Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, vendors, and inspectors.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, craftsmanship, and accountability.
Qualifications10-15+ years of experience in commercial HVAC systems.
Expertise across mechanical systems, diagnostics, and controls.
Proven field leadership experience - people naturally turn to you for answers.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and own results from start to finish.
NYC commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred.
EPA Universal Certification required.
