Our vital and growing firm is searching for an experienced Sewer and Drain Technician, who is dependable and professional.

Responsibilities:

Perform in all aspects of sewer and drain work, including but not limited to:

• Operate equipment in a safe manner

• Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers

• Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.

• Participation in required staff meetings and training

• Complete and submit paperwork daily

• Keep vans clean inside and out

• Report any issues or incidents to supervisor

• Maintain a clean drivers license

• Understand Balkan's health and safety practices and DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations

• Compliance with All Policies including:
Safety, Safety, Safety!

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Driver's License; clean driver's license and good driving record

• A good working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems and underground piping

• Plumbing knowledge a plus

• Able to easily navigate the boroughs of NYC

• Able to handle physical workload

• Strong work ethic

• This is a safety sensitive position, a drug and alcohol test will be required

• OSHA SST
