Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools/special service equipment to identify issues
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs and time estimates
• Execute warranty repairs to Ford manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ford Certification preferred (we provide training opportunities if not currently certified)
• Previous Ford dealership experience is a plus
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair abilities
• Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with eagerness to learn
• Strong customer service and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
