Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Location: New York
The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Knowledge of Computer Aided Navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, Encoder, and Hydraulics is required. Acts as a Fault Identification, resolution as well as Maintenance and Repair technician on all equipment. Shift schedule:
Wednesday

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $28.40 to $38.43 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
What You Will Do In This Role- Perform operation, fault recovery/repair and maintenance of Automation Machinery, including Logical trouble shooting, adjusting and replacement of Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical components.
- Operate and manipulate HMI/GDU devices and be competent with Computers and programs such as, Excel, Word, G-Suite.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, Cleaning, Lubricating and as well as documentation of the completion of the procedures.
- Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
- Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
- Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
- Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
- Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Typically, an associate degree or vocational technical training is preferred.
- Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
- Strong Electrical/ Electronic competency preferred.
- Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
- Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
- Able to work at heights above 30 feet and climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
- Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
