What You ll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you ll work alongside experienced inspectors while learning how to inspect, test, and document fire sprinkler and life safety systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with inspections of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
  • Learning NFPA standards and local code requirements
  • Performing basic testing procedures under supervision
  • Identifying and documenting system deficiencies
  • Completing electronic inspection reports and related paperwork
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Communicating professionally with customers and team members
  • Participating in company-sponsored training and certification programs

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid s driver s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and follow procedures
Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate may come from backgrounds such as:

  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical trades
  • Facilities maintenance
  • General construction
  • Military service
  • Commercial building operations

No previous fire sprinkler inspection experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Fire service training or certifications
  • Any trade-related certifications

Candidates without certifications are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and residential environments
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent walking, stair climbing, and standing throughout the day
  • Travel between customer locations as required
  • Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
