Salary Range: $30.00 To $50.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

Skilled and reliable Fleet Automotive Mechanic to perform the maintenance and repair of our 85 vehicle fleet. Our inventory consists of Ford vans, cars, and SUVs. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technician who is looking for a less demanding role maintaining a private fleet and is committed to minimizing vehicle downtime through proactive maintenance and expert diagnostics.

Essential Job Functions:

• Preventative Maintenance:
  Execute routine inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, NYS inspections for a high-volume fleet.
• Advanced Diagnostics:
  Troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission issues using diagnostic software
• System Repairs:
  Perform comprehensive repairs on braking systems, suspensions, steering, HVAC, and drivetrain components
• Fleet Integrity:
  Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and emissions regulations; maintain detailed digital service records for every asset.
• Parts Management:
  Coordinate with vendors to source OEM Ford parts efficiently to ensure quick turnaround times.

Position Requirements /Experience/

Education:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair
• Tools:
• Must possess a complete set of professional-grade tools.
• Licensing:
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (CDL is a plus but not required)
• NYS inspectors license
• Physical Ability:
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various physical positions (bending, kneeling, standing) for extended periods.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

• Ford Factory Training:
  Prior experience at a Ford dealership or specialized fleet center.
