PositionThe Upfit Technician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations of truck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies.
Responsibilities- Complete consistent and quality installs of truck accessories. Including but not limited to lift gates, shelving units, toolboxes, body components and lighting systems.
- Complete custom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds.
- service repairs on truck bodies.
- Document the cause and corrections for all repairs.
- Fabricating custom mounting brackets.
- Read and follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.
- GED/High School Diploma or Experience.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
- Ability to use Crane and hoists.
- Ability to use power tools and machinery.
- Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).
- Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).
