HVAC Commercial Service Technician

Classic Air is looking for a HVAC Commercial Service Technician
. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial customers. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including diagnosing electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Travel to job sites within the service area and coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules and communicate delays
• Provide emergency service during nights and weekends on a rotating basis
• Maintain company vehicle, including cleanliness, fueling, inspections, and reporting mechanical issues
• Keep vehicle stocked with necessary tools, parts, and safety equipment
• Track and submit mileage logs and required documentation
• Generate invoices on‑site, process payments, and obtain customer signatures and accurate contact information
• Document installed equipment (make, model, serial number, fuel type, test measurements, photos)
• Diagnose system issues, perform repairs, calibrate systems to manufacturer standards, and clearly explain solutions to customers
• Participate in ongoing training on new technologies and industry best practices
• Identify opportunities for additional services, upgrades, or service contracts

• Physically able to work on HVAC units
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle heavier items with assistance or equipment
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and carrying ladders
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
