Carpentry Apprentice

YNB Quality Stairs is a specialized custom stair and millwork company focused on crafting high-end staircases, custom handrails, and architectural woodwork. We are seeking a motivated Carpentry Apprentice to join our team and begin an exciting journey in the field of finish carpentry and stair building. Working both in our shop and on job sites, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about woodworking, cabinetry, framing, or hands‑on craftsmanship to develop a career in carpentry.

• Entry‑level, hands‑on apprenticeship in finish carpentry, stair, and handrail construction.
• Work closely with experienced carpenters both in the shop and on job sites.
• Ideal for individuals with a background or interest in carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry, or similar trades.
• Learn the fundamentals of custom staircase and architectural millwork fabrication and installation.

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of custom staircases and handrails in the workshop.
• Support experienced carpenters with on‑site installation projects, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
• Participate in the selection and preparation of materials for stair and millwork projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors and team leads.
• Learn to use carpentry tools and machinery safely and accurately.
• Help with the finishing and detailing of wood components.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
