As an Area Service Technician (AST), you will serve as a key representative of TLD, working directly with customers to provide troubleshooting, repairs, operational support, service bulletins, and training. What You'll DoAs an Area Service Technician, you will:
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues Perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on equipment and operating systems Inspect, repair, and overhaul electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Prepare service reports and follow up on trouble tickets Disassemble and reassemble components as needed Support customers through professional and responsive service Organize and prioritize work assignments independently Maintain work areas, tools, and company vehicles Deliver operational support and training related to TLD equipment
What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will have:
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing repair and maintenance on vehicles, equipment, or related components
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the role
• A valid driver's license
• A valid passport with no travel restrictions
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
Preferred Experience
• Diesel-powered vehicle experience
• Service repair experience involving hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, with some PLC and HVAC experience
