Team Leader, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

The foreman is responsible for supervising the installation of landscape and hardscape projects as well as supervising lawn and landscape maintenance activities as required. The foreman is responsible for insuring that all work is completed to B&W Landscaping standards for quality and efficiency.

Essential Capabilities

• Direct activities on the job site including but not limited to: coordinating workflow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery.
• Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.
• Communicating production goals to crew members and clients.
• Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages a landscape installation or maintenance crew.
• Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment.
• Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Interacts with clients in order to help ensure job satisfaction.
• Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work.
• Leads by example and mentors crew members in a positive manner.
• Reports for work at the designated location on time each day.
• Follows directions from management personnel.
• Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to.
• Communicates well with all crew members, management, and clients.
• Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for advancement.
• Monitors all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance.
• Tracks and records all job details and hours worked accurately on work order forms.
• Maintains clean and safe job site. Trains crew members to develop the best practices of installation and maintenance tasks as well as company standards.

Requirements

• Three plus years of verifiable landscape work experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as front end loaders, mini excavators, and skid steer machinery with various attachments.
• Knowledge and experience in installing and repairing a variety of hardscape products.
• Highly motivated, self – driven individual who is detail oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Able to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Punctual and dependable.

Pay Rates
$25 to $30
