, a nonprofit dedicated to child welfare services. This part‑time position (20 hours per week) supports our mission to positively impact the lives of youth and families in Long Island.

• Prepare daily lunch and dinner meals, keeping breakfast station fully stocked and trays ready for weekend use.
• Develop balanced monthly menus and specialized meals (e.g., diabetic, low‑fat).
• Order and shop for food within the budgeted allotment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen equipment and food storage areas.
• Follow food safety regulations and handle all food items properly.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support program requirements and regulatory obligations.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Physical endurance: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs, overhead reaching, repetitive wrist/finger movements.
• Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred.

20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Hourly rate: $18‑$19.25.
