Are you passionate about supporting the Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated part time Case Manager Aide to join our Family Court TASC program.
- Wage: $20 per hour
- Schedule:
14 to 16 hours per week - Location:
Suffolk County Family Court - 400 Carleton Ave in Central Islip NY
The Case Manager Aide is responsible for assisting the Case Management Unit in all aspects of operations of the program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct drug testing on clients of the Program.
- Oversee the Urinalysis Log to ensure that drug tests are recorded following the completion of each client's drug test.
- Assist the Case Management Unit in acting as liaison to the treatment field.
- Assist the Case Management Unit with certain aspects of managing a caseload such as record keeping and client interventions.
- Assist the Case Management Unit by conducting site visits to the treatment programs accompanied by a Case Manager to ensure compliance with contract mandates.
- Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, Associate’s degree in a helping profession (e.g., counseling, criminal justice, psychology, social work, or a specialized field like addictions).
- Participation in at least 12 hours of qualified training in substance abuse and/or criminal justice or 100 hours of qualified internship training at a TASC site.
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
