Position SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Development Manager, Major Gifts.
In this role, the successful candidate works closely with the Senior Director, raising funds from individual donors at the major gift level (five and six figure gifts) and supporting cultivation and stewardship strategies directed by leadership. The Development Manager, Major Gifts will have their own portfolio focused on the $25K+ level working towards an annual goal of $1M to $2M (contingent upon portfolio & experience level), with a target of closing 30+ gifts annually.
Job Responsibilities- Bachelors Degree required
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience, minimum of at least 2-4 years of experience in major gifts.
- Experience in raising $25,000+ major gifts
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
