The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is the largest city agency focused on preventing and addressing homelessness, recruiting a Community Associate to function as an Intake Worker within Shelter Intake. You will interact with communities, interview families, issue referrals, liaise with shelters, assist with confidential inquiries, and prepare detailed reports.
Hours:
8am–4pm, Tuesday to Saturday;
Sundays and Mondays off.
