The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is recruiting one (1) Community Assistant who will perform general housekeeping duties and support client services across shelter facilities. Duties include maintaining sanitary conditions, stocking supplies, transporting items, and assisting in food service and mail distribution.
Hours/Shift: Tuesday thru Saturday 12am – 8am (RDO Sunday and Monday). Residency within 90 days of appointment is generally required for City employment.
