Hype is a mobile trading app for memecoins.
You can think of us as a “jail broken coinbase meets venmo” in that our users can buy/sell/send/receive ANY asset in the world that live on blockchains.
About you- 2+ years of experience writing production software

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
- Strong Backend/Full-Stack Programming Skills
- Experience with JS/TS stacks
- Experience with mobile development (React Native, Expo)
- Experience working on crypto products
- Experience developing Smart Contracts is a plus
- Experience in environments where you have to ship quickly. We move fast.
- Experience designing and building scalable, performant, and secure systems (ideally with a focus on blockchain or fintech)
- Experience working on a remote team with a variety of timezones
- Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team
- Have a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Build features end-to-end, with full ownership over your work
- Work on improving/making an existing product more efficient by identifying inefficiencies and solving them
