The Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented individual to join our DMFI technology team as a Senior Software Engineer in our Front-Office Technology Team. The team is tasked with building a real-time Market Data Hub, real-time P&L, historical market data for pre-trade analytics, a portal for web tools, and tech solutions for the investment staff, as well as integration with various front-office vendor systems.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the Head of Macro Technology to design, architect, develop, and deliver a market data/reference data platform and integrate with Monis/Intex/Adroit  will participate in an Agile framework, continuously improve and expand platform capabilities based on rapid business requirements, provide Level 3 support worldwide, design, develop, debug, and deploy new functionality for portfolio managers, and focus on scalability, optimization, and adoption of next-generation technology.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of Java/Python development experience
• Expertise in building real-time market data services
• Expertise in fixed income products – e.g. FX, interest rates, credit
• Experience designing scalable services using Kubernetes
• Leadership of strategic technical initiatives from start to finish
• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming middleware
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ownership and track record of delivering results

Experience and knowledge of the following applications is a plus:

• Convertible Bond specialized applications, e.g. Monis
• Securitized Product and Mortgage specialized applications, e.g. Valitana, Polypath, Intex, Yieldbook
• Fixed Income PMS, Coremont
• EMS e.g. Adroit/TS Imagine
• Cloud services such as AWS

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $150,000 and $250,000. Other compensation may include performance bonus and benefits. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
