Our growing Amsterdam team is a dynamic group dedicated to developing low-latency alphas and execution strategies for APAC exchanges, contributing to CTC’s global options market-making and volatility alpha suite. • Design, implement, and deploy trading strategies using modern C++ features.
• Collaborate closely with trading and quant researchers to develop best-in-class execution and low-latency market making strategies.
• Build software using Agile methodologies and modern software best practices
• Foster collaboration with other teams including operations, pricing, exchange access, inventory and risk management, and test automation.
• Understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver software into the production environment in a timely and robust manner.
• Ensure operational safety and uphold the highest standards of software engineering by thoroughly testing code, following a coherent and maintainable design and architecture, and adhering to best practices—prioritizing carefully planned, well-structured solutions over ad hoc implementations.

• High level of proficiency in developing performant, scalable trading applications using modern C++; knowledge of C++20 preferred
• Experience developing low-latency trading strategies and a demonstrated passion for financial markets
• Significant experience with distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, collaborate, and influence across the team, company, and with external partners
• Ability to quickly triage issues and drive the resolution effort through completion
• Comfortable making architectural decisions independently
