Knot’s mission is to empower consumers and businesses alike with connected merchant and banking experiences. Knot is like “Plaid for merchant connectivity.” We build the platform connecting merchants to the many applications that consumers and businesses interact with everyday. Our flagship Card Switcher product allows consumers to instantly update & manage their cards on file with online merchant accounts (e.g. Netflix or Pay Pal), while newer products like Transaction Link support the retrieval of item-level transaction data.

Our team is relentlessly focused on building for our customers and every member of the financial services ecosystem. We take our work seriously and have fun while doing it.

• Work alongside a team to build, experiment with, and debug user‑facing features across all of Knot’s products (Card Switcher, Transaction Link, etc.)
• Build brand new products alongside existing features to drive further value for end users.
• Develop user interfaces with React/Type Script on the frontend and a variety of technologies at the API layer.
• Foster a culture of deep care for industry‑leading user experience.

• 5+ years of full stack engineering experience.
• Proficiency in React, Node, Type Script, Go, Python and Cloud
  
  SQL (or similar relational database).
• Track record of shipping high‑quality products at scale.
• Strong knack for getting the visuals right.
• You understand observability and enjoy digging into the details to solve performance and user experience issues.
• You excel in a rapidly growing organization and embrace challenging problems, tackling them directly and taking the initiative to lead the solution.
• Eagerness to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and constantly grow & develop your craft.
• Expert communication and ability to collaborate seamlessly with product teams.
• Experience with fintech or consumer apps is a plus.
