We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help architect our mobile apps for the next 2‑3 years of growth. The ideal candidate has designed/architected high‑quality, stable, low‑latency mobile apps and is excited to rebuild a product from the ground up.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to define a compelling UX for Android.
• Write clean, readable, reusable code for app design, features, components, and integrations.
• Help improve the team’s development practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and customer experience.
• Work with stakeholders from product, marketing, and other teams on initiatives that align with KPIs and business priorities.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Participate in standard engineering practices such as code reviews, stand‑ups, planning meetings, and product/technology demos.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance the Credit Genie product suite.

• 5+ years of professional mobile development.
• Proficient in Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices.
• Ability to translate design mocks (including Figma files) into code.
• Experience working independently and directly with product, marketing, and engineering teams in a highly iterative environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with personal finance management products.
• Understanding of UX design concepts and flexibility with design tools such as Figma, InVision, Origami, or Sketch.
• Capability to maintain a style guide, UI kit, and brand assets.
• Familiarity with consumer credit risk and the customer life cycle.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total compensation and rewards package at Credit Genie. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus and equity programs.
