CLOUD ENGINEER — New York City, NY or Remote

Zenivize is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in the AWS ecosystem and Dev Ops in general. Our ideal candidate is an efficient problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at managing their own time and tasks with minimal oversight.

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using cloud-based technologies.

Implement and manage CI/CD processes.

Maintain and enhance our Kubernetes and ECR infrastructure.

Contribute to the development of our application, primarily built with Java and Vue.

Work closely with other team members to ensure the quality of the software while maintaining a high speed of development.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering. AWS certification is not required but is desirable.

Specialization in the AWS ecosystem and Dev Ops with hands-on experience in Kubernetes and ECR.

Experience with Quarkus is a plus.

Experience with Vue 3 with Composition API is a plus.

Demonstrated capacity to work independently, showing self-motivation and initiative.

Ability to strike a balance between velocity and software quality.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Manage their own time and tasks with minimal oversight.
