Fullstack Java Engineer

Contract Duration: 6 Months+ with possible extensions or FTE conversion W2

This individual will be working to convert a legacy P&L Accounting application to an updated Full Stack framework.

• High-performance programming using Java
• full stack development using Angular/Typescript for front-end and Java with Spring Framework for back-end.
• Apache Kafka for messaging and stream processing.
• Apache Ignite for in-memory computing.
• Openshift or equivalent
• Build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Code quality tools like Sonar Qube
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, App Dynamics, New Relic, Elastic, or Open Telemetry.

• Creating user stories
• Engage with end users on requirements
• Running demonstrations
• Agile methodology

• Understanding of Bond Pricing, Bond Risk, Bond PnL, and Position Management.
• Understanding of Trade lifecycle, Position Management, and End of Day Marking.
• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets Fixed Income domain.
