Following a recent $100M Series C raise at a $3B valuation
, the team is scaling rapidly and looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design and optimize systems that process enormous volumes of data. This role will play a key part in shaping the performance, reliability, and scalability of the company’s core infrastructure as usage continues to grow exponentially.

• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across large-scale distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain high-performance services that optimize throughput and reliability.
• Guide teams on scalable architecture and best practices for API and data layer design.
• Tackle complex scalability challenges such as sharding databases, splitting workloads, and optimizing event loops.
• Define and monitor performance metrics to improve system observability and uptime.

• Proven experience optimizing APIs and large-scale backend systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience (Postgres preferred).
• Deep understanding of query optimization, schema design, and distributed data systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis
  , Postgres
  , Elasticsearch/Open Search
  , or similar tools.
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure and observability tools (AWS, Terraform, Datadog, etc.).

• Experience building large-scale, high-performance data pipelines or event ingestion systems.
• Expertise in AWS serverless optimization and scaling containerized workloads.
• Exposure to front-end or full-stack environments (React, Type Script, Python).
