We're seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong design implementation skills to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll lead the development of user-facing applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, performant interfaces. You'll drive end-to-end implementation of frontend features, establish component architecture, and ensure our applications deliver exceptional user experiences.

This role is 100% on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in New York City.

• Build and maintain sophisticated React applications for our insurance platform
• Translate requirements and Figma designs into production-ready code
• Develop reusable component libraries and establish frontend architecture patterns
• Collaborate across teams to define feature specifications and technical requirements
• Implement responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices
• Create data visualization components and interactive reporting interfaces
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of component libraries and coding standards
• Partner with backend engineers to define API contracts and data requirements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementations
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Knowledge of frontend build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data

• Experience with module federation and micro-frontend architectures
• Knowledge of design systems and component documentation tools (Storybook)
• Familiarity with backend technologies and full stack development
• Experience in Insur Tech or financial services applications
• Background in UI/UX design or design tools beyond Figma
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation
