We are seeking Senior Frontend Software Engineers to design and develop next‑generation technologies and complex features. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non‑trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. You’ll also serve as an advocate and mentor for your teammates, displaying leadership qualities and being an example for those around you.

Location:

Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA or Aliso Viejo, CA.

The Consumer Experience (CX) team is responsible for the end‑to‑end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. It sits at the forefront of fulfilling Stub Hub’s mission to become the global destination for accessing live event experiences by crafting the product experience that millions of fans interact with every day.

We are obsessed with understanding our users’ needs and delivering feature innovations, both short‑term and long‑term, that are as effective as they are enjoyable. We serve a global fan base and aim to deliver a localized experience that feels personalized to every individual in over 60 regions and 30 languages. We believe that diversity of thought and transparency of impact breed the best innovations, which is why we are a cross‑functional team of specialists in product, design, engineering, and data working closely together with equal voice in ideation and equal access to insights.

We work across the entire stack leveraging any tool or technology necessary to support web and mobile feature innovation at scale.

What You'll Do:
  • Take full ownership of high‑impact frontend initiatives that shape how millions of fans discover, buy, and sell live event tickets
  • Design and build scalable, maintainable React applications with a strong emphasis on performance, accessibility, and reliability
  • Partner deeply with Product Managers and Designers to define solutions, not just implement requirements
  • Drive frontend technical decisions in a bottom‑up engineering culture, balancing fast iteration with long‑term system health
  • Own features from idea to launch to measurement, using data and experimentation to inform iteration and improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve frontend architecture, tooling, and engineering practices across the Consumer Experience organization
  • Mentor teammates and lead by example through high ownership, strong technical judgment, and product‑minded thinking
What You've Done:
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong frontend focus building React + Type Script applications at scale
  • Proven ability to own complex frontend features end‑to‑end, from early technical and product discussions through production launch and iteration
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, client‑server interactions, and how frontend systems operate in production at scale
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data partners to translate ambiguous problems into intuitive user experiences
  • Track record of improving frontend quality through performance optimization, accessibility, maintainability, or developer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and raise the bar for frontend craftsmanship across a team
  • Comfortable learning new tools, frameworks, and patterns as the product and organization evolve
