Position
Description:
A NYC agency located in NYC is looking for a .NET Developer with a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications using , C#, WebAPI, and related technologies.
- Develop and optimize complex queries and database objects in Oracle to support backend processes and application requirements.
- Implement modern front‑end interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Type Script, ensuring responsive and user‑friendly design.
- Support and maintain Unix‑based batch jobs and cron tasks via shell scripting.
- Develop detailed, customized reports using Oracle reporting tools or Microsoft SSRS based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality software solutions on time.
- Use Git Lab and Bitbucket for source code management and version control.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment processes using Azure Dev Ops.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in application code and systems using Veracode or similar tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end‑users to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver technical documentation.
Education:
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience with .NET technologies, including , C#, .NET Framework 4.8+, WebAPI, Windows Services, and asynchronous/multithreaded programming.
- At least five (5) years of experience working with Oracle databases, including development of complex database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions, with a focus on performance optimization.
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on experience with front‑end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Type Script, and modern web development frameworks.
- Practical experience with Unix environments and shell scripting, particularly for managing cron jobs and batch processes.
- At least two (2) years of experience creating complex, customized reports using Oracle reporting tools or Microsoft SSRS.
- Proficiency with tools including Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022, Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Reporting Services, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git Lab and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, particularly using Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with security vulnerability remediation, including identification and resolution using tools like Veracode.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
