My client are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and scale a modern, high impact web application used by sophisticated internal and external users. This role is for an engineer who takes real ownership of frontend architecture, has strong product instincts, and enjoys working closely with design and backend partners to deliver polished, performant user experiences.

You will be responsible for shaping frontend systems end to end, from component libraries and state management through performance, accessibility, and deployment. This is a hands on role with real technical influence and clear expectations around quality and decision making.

• Own the architecture and evolution of a large scale React and Next.js frontend
• Design and implement reusable component systems with strong UX and accessibility standards
• Define frontend patterns for state management, data fetching, and caching
• Build data rich, high performance user interfaces that scale with complexity
• Partner closely with design to translate product intent into thoughtful UI implementations
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and frontend backend boundaries
• Establish best practices for testing, performance optimization, and frontend reliability
• Take ownership of frontend technical decisions and contribute to long term roadmap discussions

• Strong experience with React and Next.js in production environments
• Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, including state management and data fetching
• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems
• High bar for UX quality, accessibility, and visual polish
• Strong product sense and the ability to reason from user problems to technical solutions
• Comfortable making opinionated technical decisions and defending tradeoffs
• Experience with performance tuning, rendering optimization, and frontend observability
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross functionally with design and backend teams
