Lead iOS Engineer – Hodinkee

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year
Responsibilities- Lead the technical direction of the iOS application to deliver on the defined product roadmap.
- Architect modular Swift
UI/UIKit systems with scalable patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or similar). - Implement modern concurrency approaches using async/await, GCD, and/or Combine.
- Integrate cleanly with REST/Graph
QL APIs and support offline-ready data flows. - Maintain robust automated test suites including XCTest, snapshot, and UI tests.
- Optimize layout, animations, memory usage, and app performance.
- Mentor engineers and guide code quality and architectural consistency.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver cohesive and premium user experiences.
- 7+ years of iOS development experience.
- Advanced Swift skills with expertise in Swift
UI and UIKit interoperability. - Strong understanding of modular architectures, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with concurrency frameworks and reactive patterns.
- Proven technical leadership and team mentorship abilities.
- Experience with animations, feature flags, widgets, watch
OS, or App Clips. - Knowledge of secure storage, encryption, and advanced testing strategies.
