We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Android with significant experience to take ownership of our Android application, bringing it to parity with our iOS offering and ensuring its continued excellence. You'll own the entire Android experience for their massive user base and bring it to parity with iOS. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with founders in a small team environment.

• Devise and lead the strategy to bring the Android app to feature parity with iOS.
• Build beautiful, fast, polished experiences across the Whop Android app.
• Own end-to-end customer features, from conception to weekly change logs.
• Work closely with founders and designers to transform vision into shipped product.
• Implement reusable architecture patterns to accelerate future development.

• 5 - 10 years of experience in software engineering building android applications, with deep Kotlin and Compose experience.
• Owned end-to-end Android app development at fast growing start-ups.
• Experience working in fast paced and early stage start-ups (Seed - Series B).
• CS Degree from a Top 30 US undergraduate program or international equivalent (e.g., Waterloo).
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Compose for Android development.
• Proficiency with Hilt and Room.
• Ability to flex into Rails when needed.
• Deeply collaborative and energized by the fast paced nature of an early stage environment.
