Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a full-stack engineer to join our team, building products and features to increase sales of energy-efficient solutions. This role is based in our NYC office (hybrid) and we’re open to leveling, Senior to Principal.

• Own end-to-end feature development, from ideation and planning, through execution and deployment. Write and review code across the entire stack while balancing quality and execution speed.
• Make key architectural contributions to shape the technology stack, including defining best practices, strategizing around technical debt, and considering when to build or buy.
• Influence the product roadmap by working closely with the founders to deeply understand customer pain points, capture user metrics, discuss feasibility, and negotiate project requirements and priorities.
• Gain exposure to all aspects of a startup business – from sales and customer discovery to strategy and beyond.

• 5+ years of development experience in Ruby on Rails or similar full-stack frameworks
• Knowledgeable about modern web application development practices
• Strong expertise in database design and management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team to balance product and technical requirements
• Ownership mindset with the ability to operate with ambiguity
• Experience designing systems from scratch, taking them from 0 to 1, and scaling them
• Experience or interest in AI, ML, and LLMs

• New York: $160,000 - $200,000 salary + competitive equity package
