The Data Applications team is working to build the next generation of data-centric applications using modern tools, while employing leading-edge development principles. We’re looking to bring on a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us develop and iterate our vision to bring intuitive user experiences that empower our investment teams to make better decisions.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Working inside of our application monorepo, both developing new UI/UX experiences, as well as being a good steward of best practices within our organization.
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, Product Managers, and Designers while advocating for the best possible experience for our users.
• Writing well-tested, defensive code that optimizes for high up-time guarantees.
• Tuning the performance of our applications, to ensure that we provide the highest quality, lowest-latency experience possible.
• Having the wisdom to when to both start from scratch and especially, when not to, as you encounter older systems that need to be updated and maintained.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related experience.
• Strong analytical and programming skills
• 5-7+ years of experience using JavaScript (preferably w/ Type Script)
• 5-7+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
• 5-7+ years developing applications w/ React
• A solid understanding of working with APIs and databases
• A penchant for modern front-end build pipelines
