Private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate) have 10x to 9.8T in AUM over the past decade and are projected to grow to $17T in the next five years. However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with most of the market operating predominantly in error‑prone, internal‑only software solutions.

Pact Fi provides secure, end‑to‑end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web‑based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficiently allocate capital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank‑grade standard, and we have received our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation.

Pact Fi was developed in close partnership with two of the industry's largest players, both of whom represent the top 3 players in the private credit space by both size (AUM) and deal activity.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP Laravel to support Pact Fi’s financial workflows, partner onboarding, and investment operations.
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, fault‑tolerant
  , and optimized for low latency.
• Implement API versioning, documentation, and automated testing.

• Develop integrations with financial data providers, custodians, broker‑dealer systems, KYC/AML services, payment processors, and CRM platforms.
• Build workflows for data synchronization, event processing, and multi‑system orchestration.
• Develop middleware solutions to normalize, validate, and transform financial data across external APIs and Pact Fi systems.

• Design and optimize relational databases (MSSQL or MySQL) for investment data, partner information, and operational workflows.
• Ensure strong data governance, auditability, and compliance with financial‑sector data requirements.
• Build data‑layer tools for secure and reliable data movement.

• Implement secure authentication & authorization: OAuth2, JWT, API keys.
• Develop and maintain role‑based access controls (RBAC) aligned with financial industry requirements.
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Enforce encryption and secure handling of sensitive financial and customer data.

• 5+ years of backend development experience with PHP Laravel

• Strong expertise in RESTful API architecture and distributed backend systems.
• Experience integrating with external APIs (financial systems, CRMs, payment platforms, KYC/AML providers).
• Strong database skills with MSSQL, MySQL
  , and caching systems such as Redis.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and API monitoring.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving ability.
