Founding Engineer; Frontend

Pario is a venture-backed pre-seed technology company with a mission to improve maternal and fetal healthcare outcomes in the US, which are currently the worst in the developed world.

We're building an electronic health/medical record (EHR/EMR) system tailored to the workflows of obstetricians, gynecologists, and midwives. Our vision is to empower women’s healthcare providers to spend less time on admin and more time on patient care with elegant, simple, more intuitive software.

As a founding engineer, you’ll work closely with the CTO to realize Pario’s vision and bring our product to market. With a focus on frontend development, you’ll be responsible for delivering a seamless user experience to our customers. For our MVP, we ll need a web application built with React (and/or other suitable technologies) that allows users (patients, administrative staff, nurses, doctors, etc.)

to interface with our core backend services. You will own large parts of the codebase, have autonomy to make technical decisions, and have significant impact on the final product.

• Frontend:
  Typescript + React
• Infra: AWS

• 1+ years working in a compiled, statically typed language (e.g., Golang, Java, Rust, Typescript, C, C++)
• Proactive, autonomous working style
• Ability to resolve ambiguity in the absence of product requirements or design documents

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent working experience)
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices (i.e., automated test and deployment pipelines)
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry
• Prior startup experience
