• Build and maintain client-side experiences for Novig's web and mobile applications using React and React Native
• Own and evolve critical user interfaces that directly impact usability, performance, and trust across the Novig marketplace
• Balance functional and aesthetic design
  , working closely with product and design to deliver intuitive, responsive user experiences
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues across web and mobile environments
• Collaborate across the stack
  , contributing to frontend architecture decisions and integrating with backend services and APIs
• Ship high-impact features that improve user engagement and support Novig's mission to build the leading sports marketplace
• Leverage modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve development velocity and code quality

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 3+ years of professional experience building front end applications
• Deep experience with Typescript, React, and React Native.
  
  Experience with Node.js and Graph

• Passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
• Strong product intuition and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and within fast-moving, cross-functional teams

• Novig's founders, Jacob and Kelechi, are recent Harvard grads with experience at Jane St & BoA who started Novig with the belief that a commission-free P2P exchange model will replace the exploitative and unprofitable betting model of traditional sports books. They themselves were sophisticated sports bettors who grew increasingly frustrated by the latency, discriminatory practices, monotony, and non-profitability of the retail sports betting experience.
