We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. Directly reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be the technical owner for frontend running at  Along with the senior engineering team, you will shape our engineering culture to tackle the next set of challenges and deliver high impact to a product loved by users. This role is based in our energetic NYC headquarters and offers a base salary of $200,000‑$240,000 per year, plus equity.

• Set the architectural direction of our front end, balancing scalable long‑term needs with short‑term practicality
• Collaborate with product and design to transform customer needs into intuitive experiences
• Lead and execute on our ambitious roadmap, releasing milestone products that drive the company to its next phase
• Help push the team’s culture toward maturity while staying stage appropriate
• Work with a stack that includes AWS, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, ECS, and use React for web front‑ends

• 8+ years of professional experience with web technologies
• Deep expertise in frontend architecture and web performance optimization
• Deep expertise with React
• Passion for building great products that delight users
• Proven track record of building high‑quality applications
• Empathetic communicator who works seamlessly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Passionate about delivering business value through great user experience
