We are a fast-growing tech company building an innovative Point-of-Sale (POS) system designed for the retail industry. We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team and help enhance and scale our platform. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our POS system using PHP (Code Igniter 3 framework)

• Upgrade and optimize our current system from PHP 7.3 to PHP 8

• Work with jQuery & Bootstrap 3 to enhance UI/UX

• Manage database operations using MySQL 8

• Deploy and manage applications in a Docker Swarm environment

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system reliability and performance

• Collaborate with the team to develop new features and improve existing ones

Requirements

✔ 3+ years of experience in full-stack development

✔ Strong expertise in PHP (7.3/8) and Code Igniter 3 framework

✔ Proficiency in jQuery & Bootstrap 3

✔ Experience with MySQL 8 (query optimization, indexing, replication)

✔ Familiarity with Docker Swarm for deployment

✔ Ability to work on-site at our Brooklyn, NY office

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

➕ Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)

➕ Understanding of cloud-based deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

➕ Experience with payment processing or POS systems
