We earn creators on our platform almost $1B / year with a team of about 70 people based in Brooklyn, NY.

What does the role look like?

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for one or more product areas - metrics, customer experience, and technical vision. In this role, you will drive impactful business outcomes by deeply understanding customer needs, setting clear priorities for maximum impact, collaborating with designers on solution ideation, and implementing experiments through hands‑on coding.

You’ll take on our most challenging, impactful projects, such as integrating multiple payment processors, scaling notification and chat systems, and building low-latency applications such as live video streaming. You’ll also enhance performance and reliability across our systems, from public APIs and checkout to core web vitals. Collaboration with both engineering and non‑engineering teams will be key. This role blends technical leadership with hands‑on building.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in either backend (e.g., Ruby on Rails) OR frontend technologies (e.g., React, Next.js).

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Experience building beautiful products at a high velocity

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

• Target base salary of $200,000 - $230,000 + a competitive equity package.
