Atlog builds compliance‑first Voice AI for regulated industries. Our platform powers outbound and inbound communications for rent‑to‑own, automotive, leasing, and financial services businesses. We help these companies reach customers safely, automate high‑volume operations, and stay fully aligned with TCPA, FDCPA, state quiet hours, consent rules, and audit trail requirements.

We are hiring a Founding Engineer to own core product development across our Voice AI stack. This is a high‑impact, zero‑bureaucracy role where you will work directly with the founders to build the systems that power real‑world call centers, compliance pipelines, consent management, and AI agent orchestration. You will shape architecture, ship fast, and help define a product that already reaches tens of thousands of customers every week.

The work spans LLM integrations, real‑time call flows, backend infra, dashboards, and compliance features that must be rock solid.

We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys owning entire features end‑to‑end, and wants to build a category‑defining product from the earliest days.

• Design, build, and deploy core systems across our Voice AI platform including agent flows, routing rules, transcription pipelines, compliance logic, and call analytics.
• Lead development on our Next.js front‑end, FastAPI backend, and Supabase Postgres database.
• Architect reliable and high‑precision compliance features such as consent checks, quiet‑hour enforcement, call ledger events, and audit trails.
• Build tools that help customers manage locations, call scripts, commitments, and performance dashboards.
• Improve real‑time call stability, latency, and failover using our telecom partners, Redis, and event‑driven workers.
• Own production incidents end‑to‑end, from root‑cause to fix.
• Ship features fast, iterate directly with customers, and help drive engineering culture and standards.
• Work closely with founders on product strategy and long‑term technical direction.

• Experience building and deploying AI agents.
• Deep understanding on how to extract the most out of AI coding tools without losing engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Python or Type Script backend services, ideally including FastAPI or Node.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres), SQL, and schema design.
• Comfort working across the stack and taking ownership of complex, messy problems.
• Clear communication and a bias toward action, iteration, and customer‑driven thinking.

• Experience with telephony, audio streaming, SIP, WebRTC, or real‑time systems.
• Prior work on LLM Evals.
• Experience with Supabase, Redis, Porter, or AWS.
• Background working in regulated markets (finance, healthcare, collections, automotive).
