This is a full-time role to be a Software Engineer at Hadrius, located onsite in New York, NY.

About the role

You will work directly with the founding team to design and build the future of the financial system from the ground floor of a high growth startup. We pride ourselves on having a hands off culture by having very few meetings and giving engineers a broad scope of responsibility and autonomy. You’ll be working in-person 5 days/week in our NYC FiDi office, building side-by-side with the rest of the team.

Our tech stack is django/python, react/next/typescript, hosted on AWS.

First week:

Day 1: push your first PR to production
Understand the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap
Learn the Hadrius way: how we work and build for hyper growth
Get up to speed on the codebase
Contribute to product discussions in weekly all hands

First month:

Implement a big feature that directly leads to new revenue for the business
Standing out on the team in sheer contribution
Build for more new revenue streams, respond to existing customer feedback and requests, becoming a master of your domain.

First 3 months & beyond:

Continuing to develop the above skillset, paying special attention to scaling challenges and stability as we bring on more and more clients.
Mentoring new team members and supporting them towards a successful trajectory.

Qualifications

0-4 years of professional experience as a software engineer
Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems
Comfortable building across the stack (Django/Flask/FastAPI/React/AWS)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to haves

Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience working in a mature React codebase in production
Experience working in a mature Django/Python codebase in production
