Founding Full Stack Engineer; on-site

Overview

Join our client s team as a Founding Engineer and help them transform how companies hire tech talent. They are building assessment tools that simulate real technical interviews, and you ll be a key player in scaling their platform during a period of rapid growth. You ll work directly with their core team in NYC, taking ownership of projects and shipping features that directly impact how staffing firms evaluate and place technical talent.

This is an opportunity to shape the product from concept to completion.

• Build and ship full-stack web applications in a production environment
• Contribute to the development of assessment tools and platform features that simulate technical interviews
• Own projects and drive them to completion, collaborating with the core team in NYC
• Impact how staffing firms evaluate and place technical talent

• Experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in a production environment
• Strong foundation in React, Type Script/JavaScript, and SQL
• Interest in or experience with LLMs and AI systems is a plus
• Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering projects
• Comfort with ambiguity and the excitement of wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for making technical hiring more equitable and effective
• Must be able to work on-site in New York

• Competitive salary range up to 250k USD per year
