About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a backend and database focus to help build, update, and maintain our ecosystem. You will drive innovation, ensure the integration of cutting‑edge technologies, and deliver software that meets the highest standards of quality and performance across the lifecycle of all of Inspiren’s devices and platforms.
What You’ll Own- Collaborate with operations, sales, and product teams to understand business challenges and develop robust technical solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain our applications.
- Analyze software features for performance and make data‑driven development decisions.
- Experience with Postgre
SQL (or other relational databases). - Experience with cloud architecture, understanding how to build solutions with managed services.
- Experience writing integration tests.
- Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to address problems in real‑world settings.
- A demonstrated ability to work in a team, with excellent skill‑sharing capabilities.
- Strong communication skills both within engineering and to other teams in the company.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Programming Proficiency: Expertise in backend systems and infrastructure with an emphasis on Typescript & NodeJS.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience with cloud infrastructure management and serverless applications, specifically in managing performance, observability, and scalability.
- Databases:
Experience with Postgre
SQL (or other relational databases). - Security Principles: Understanding of embedded security practices and encryption methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- The annual salary for this role is $150,000‑$180,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).
