AIE Software Developer - Applied Innovation Exchange Software Developer
Responsibilities- Understand business challenge and value proposal and work closely with the team on the definition of business/technical specifications (architecture) of new products/services
- Lead the development of the experimentation as scrum master and developer
- Demonstrate a high level of passion and ability to research and benchmark new technologies from machine learning, 5G, VR/AR, and related areas
- Foster community development with the architect community
- Capable of helping to develop client workshops when the subject matter is technical
- Assist in the development and recruitment of partners/startups that align to these topics
- Master’s, PhD degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology focus on full stack
- Proficiency in one or more developer skills:
Java, C/C++, PHP, Python, Ruby, Unix, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Unity - Experience with web frameworks such as Angular
JS, NodeJS, Sprout Core - Experience in advanced Big Data methodologies such as Data Modeling, Validation, Processing, Hadoop, Map Reduce, Mongo
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Demonstrable experience in application development in Objective-C for OS X or iOS is a plus
- Client-Server protocol & API design Skills
- Certification Capgemini architect level 1
- Deployment and team tool technologies (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Github, git, Bitbucket, Bash shell scripting, Docker, Hip Chat)
- Experience creating and shipping V1 products using modern development practices
- Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD) or Lean Startup
- Engages in dialogue with business and technology teams to scope the solution, perform the POV and drive the delivery of MVP
- With great technical passion, terrific problem-solving skills, drive for results, and ability to work independently and in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Ability to pay attention to details while keeping view on the overall analysis to provide the right user experience
- Ability to ramp-up quickly in new areas and learn other coding languages as needed
- Affinity with UX and UI
- Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
- Loves the next problem, the next experiment, the next partner
- Solve problems by always leading with deep passion and empathy for customers
- Able to craft multi-functional requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks
- In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
