Staff Software Engineer
Integral Ad Science is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise for ad verification, analytics, and anti‑ad fraud solutions. The role requires architecting end‑to‑end software, mentoring a team, and collaborating closely with product and engineering stakeholders.
What You’ll Do- Architect, design, build, and integrate core products end to end.
- Lead the entire software lifecycle, including hands‑on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, while mentoring a team.
- Partner with the Product team and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements, and research and develop solutions, including API development.
- Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- BS in Computer Science or a related STEM degree.
- 15+ years of hands‑on full‑stack programming with recent experience using Java and JavaScript/Type Script.
- Strong knowledge of Java (collections, multithreading, JVM memory model, etc.).
- Experience building high‑volume, low‑latency systems and APIs.
- Experience building software used in the delivery and distribution of data across multiple platforms.
- Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
- Experience designing and developing containerized and distributed applications in the cloud.
- Experience partnering with product and other high‑level stakeholders to meet business deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
