Software Engineer - Frontend

Overview

Staff Software Engineer - Frontend ma is transforming how businesses run by delivering a high performance data platform. We are growing the engineering team and seek engineers excited to solve challenging problems and deliver impactful capabilities across our stack to build world-class technology.

• Develop elegant and responsive user experiences using the latest front-end technologies. Own substantial pieces of the product from design to launch.
• Collaborate with product, UX design, and backend teams to develop new features and technologies that improve the product experience and simplify the user experience for non-technical users.
• Apply front-end expertise to create novel visualizations for structured and unstructured data and develop techniques to improve performance and interactivity of the application.
• Use modern frontend frameworks like React, Graph
  
  QL, Type Script and Node.js.

• 10+ years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software.
• Strong design sensibility and a passion for building products with great user experiences.
• Ability to trade off functionality and delivery speed to deliver value to customers, iterating based on feedback and roadmap priorities.
• Desire to be a great teammate and take ownership of work while having fun at work.
• Strong sense of craftsmanship and curiosity to solve challenges at Sigma.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.

• Experience building software capabilities for analyzing large-scale data web applications.
• Prior experience at high-growth companies solving technical problems to enable continued success.

The base salary range for this position is $240k - $270k annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. This role is eligible for stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
