Infosys is seeking Java Architect
. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty;

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Required Qualifications- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Experience
- At least 7 years of experience as implementing solutions on cloud platforms such as Red Hat Open Shift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services.
- At least 7 years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to build robust and efficient applications.
- Experience in lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
- Experience in integrating and optimize messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, and solace within the application architecture.
- Experience in designing and managing databases, including oracle and No
SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. - Experience in applying architectural principles, design patterns, and solid principles to develop maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards and best practices.
- Experience in emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our technical landscape.
- Explore and implement AI and ML technologies to enhance application capabilities and drive innovation.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating modern technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on technical challenges.
- Excellent technical communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to development teams and technical stakeholders.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
