Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Growth team. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will partner across product, design, data, and engineering to build features end-to-end, lead projects, and elevate our user experiences. You’ll also own core backend services (signup, auth, integrations) and ensure secure, high-quality, reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment.
Where You Will WorkThis role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What You Will Do- Design, build, and launch new features and improve the overall quality of the Garner app
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand our users and iterate on new ideas
- Protect our users’ privacy and security through secure coding and design practices
- Support the Garner app in production
- 2+ years hands-on work delivering full-stack software
- Expertise in Type Script (preferred) or modern Java Script
- Familiarity with React, NodeJS, Python, Docker, and a major cloud provider
- Experience with one or more database systems, especially Postgre
SQL or Elastic Search - Experience working in a team using agile methodologies and fluency with the agile toolkit
- Python, Type Script, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Istio, Postgres, Elastic Search, NATS, AWS, Terraform
The target salary range for this position is $137,000 - $166,000. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision plan options, 401(k), and more.
