Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Python Senior Developer and take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting‑edge software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that leverage a diverse tech stack, including Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Responsibilities- Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks aligned with Cognite industrial data solutions.
- Create and maintain data models, schemas and data flow diagrams.
- Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize data integration and pipeline performance for Cognite’s SaaS platform.
- Mentor team members on architecture best practices.
- 7+ years of experience as a Python developer.
- Expertise in Cognite database design, data modeling and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, security and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Hybrid remote – New York, NY 11226. Pay: $60–$65 per hour.
