Position OverviewJava Developer located in Midtown – need to be on-site 3 days per week.
CompensationPay $560-600/day w2/$680/day IC – NYC (3x week).
Responsibilities & Technical SkillsDirect Recruit Agency is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications for our clients.
- Proficient in Java for enterprise‑grade application development
- Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and transformation
- Experience with MQ, Kafka, and REST API
Experience with
Python scripting for automation, data processing, and analytics is a plus. Knowledge of Compliance Systems is a plus. Experience working with modern data platforms like Dremio and Snowflake for data virtualization and cloud‑based analytics is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with database design and SQL
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
