Location: Owego
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Avionics Software Engineer to work out of Owego, NY. The Sr. Avionics Software Engineer is responsible for supporting software implementation and integration of military aircraft systems. Responsibilities of the Sr. Avionics Software Engineer includes:
* Provide expertise in software development, integration and testing of flight siimulation and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
* Provide verification and optimization of implemented software
* Support the building of military aircraft sensor and survivability systems
* Support the build of real time operating systems in accordance to DoD aviation compliance Qualifications for the Sr. Avionics Software Engineer includes :
* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of C++ and Python
* 3+ years with real time operating systems
* Expertise in flight simulation software, DoD focused flight is preferred
* Bachelor's degree is required, masters degree is preferred
* US Citizenship (can maintain up to a Top Secret clearance) Compensation for the Sr. Avionics Software Engineer includes :
* Salary: $150,000 - $230,000+
